The only reason I agreed to go on this cruise was for the water activities!
We expected similarities to the Sea Cloud and the Windstar - NOT! We learned at check-in that “the Water Activities are not offered on this trip."
The week before the trip I asked a rep at Crystal what I needed to bring for the Water Activities, and she said " just your water shoes.” We were sent a “Water Sports Participation Release” to sign & return

We went on the Fjords Dhow Cruise, for the snorkeling, but the dhow captain decided not to stop for the snorkeling.

Nothing offered. We did our own tour before embarking.
Doha
A good tour through the city.On our own, we went to the Mus.of Islamic Art. Although the ship's shuttle bus went by there on its way to the mall, they didn't bother to make it an official stop (easy pul-off on road,) so we were told to take a taxi.
Sir Bani Yas Island
The "Mountain Biking" went all of 1 1/2 miles to a small archeology site - NOT to see the animals. We were not told in advance it really wasn't a mountain bike adventure, & that we would not be going to the wildlife park! The hikers went there, and walked more distance than we biked, & they got to see the wild animals. Furious about that!
