Sail Date: Dec 2019

We sailed on this cruise as a family Christmas cruise, the ship is far from being in prestige condition, well due in of a refurbishment our balcony chairs had chips of paint missing one of the chairs the blot came out the little table has not seen a coat of varnish in years. All around the pool area they have only got sun lounges no tables and chairs even in the shaded areas the only tables and chairs were for smokers. The bar staff were rude and some of the waiters didn't want to know you especially in the Sky lounge. The chefs in the carvery at the buffet were more interested in talking then serving. The cabins were clean and well kept generally the staff were friendly and pleasant. We've sailed with Celebrity twice before in Europe and the standard has certainly slipped the food is still good but it used to be so much better, the speciality restaurants are way too expensive. Embarkment was excellent as was disembarkment. Entertainment was very good we enjoyed the shows and bands there could have been more band music played around pool area and also no poolside BBQ go figure first cruise ship we've been on with no Bbq special event they did have bbq dinners at the other pool at a charge off course.
