We booked this cruise for a family Christmas at sea where all ages would be catered for. The youngest were 5 years old and the oldest was 82. The ship was decorated beautifully and you could feel the Christmas spirit as soon as you stepped on board. The kids loved every minute and were fussed over by all the staff not just those in kids club where they came away with decorated hats, stuffed toys, tour of the bridge, drink bottles and more. The activities were great from gingerbread house making competition, 60 second frenzy(like minute to win it), bingo, casino, craft classes, art auctions, jewellery sales, ukulele classes. Honestly so much to do, movies under the stars with free popcorn, free room service, shows of an outstanding calibre from singers, dancers, magicians to comedians. Shore excursions, multitude of choice or do it your own way. There were always plenty of drivers at each port to advise and take you where you wanted to go for the day at reasonable prices. Gili Islands off Lombok were amazing snorkelling, pity there was so much plastic and rubbish in the water, but still beautiful.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Twin beds, roomy cabin. Bathroom was small, a large person would have difficulty getting dressed in there. Heaps of cupboard space for hanging clothes and plentiful number of hangars. Bed very soft and comfortable. Large t.v. with on demand movies(free). Small bar fridge in room

Port Reviews

Geraldton

It was lovely to be able to walk to town from the short shuttle ride from the boat. The walk along the foreshore is lovely and the ? glass sphere sculpture worth seeing

Komodo Island

Tender ride to island. Well worth seeing these giant predators, we saw 6 of them. Very knowledgeable guides

Lombok

We went to Gili islands which were beautiful. I am not a swimmer so only went knee deep and saw loads of colourful fish, even better for snorkellers further out but still in depths of ~ 5 feet. They really need to deal with the rubbish though, so much plastic and other rubbish in the water.

Bali

It took a long time to get off the boat which really limited our time in Bali. my advice, get your tender ticket early! We visited Bali zoo, which is undergoing improvements, still a great experience though and a nearby waterfall which was beautiful. Very friendly, helpful taxi driver that we hired at the port
