Celebrity deilvered a really good time for us ahead of what we learned would be a hiatus for the beautiful Silhouette. My review may obviously cover a ship configuration that will have been significantly revamped. For instance, my favorite room, the Wine Cellar, apparently will be eliminated.

Embarking and disembarking both went very efficiently. The public rooms on the Silhouette were really appealing. The atrium, the lounges and the theater were comfortable and attractive. Our standard verandah cabin was above average in terms of space and appearance, although storage space was a litttle lacking. Our cabin steward Oscar was outstanding - always on it!

Breakfast & lunch at the Oceanview Cafe buffet was surprisingly manageable. Because of the use of various isoalted islands, lines were minimal and the experience less harried. The food was consistently good, though pretty much the same each day. Read more
