So incredibly nice to leave from San Diego! We had a very relaxing time. If you are looking for negative you will find it. Staff was so nice and helpful. Food was good, we ate in dining room and buffet. We both found plenty to eat that we liked and a few things we did not. We enjoyed the salad bar and the pizza was delicious! My husband thought the gym was the nicest he has experienced on a ship.Embarkation was simple, organized, and efficient, debarkation was very quick as long as you listened to instructions and were patient. Cabin was nice, balcony for us was key to relaxation! We would definitely go with Carnival again. Variety of activities available onboard for all ages. We walked around Catalina and did not exit ship in Ensenada. Fun to watch people who did though! Yes, the ship was showing some wear and tear but the crew was working hard everyday to keep it clean. We have cruised Disney, Princess and Holland America. They all have pros and cons. I hope Carnival and other cruise lines continue departure from San Diego. OH if you like to have a straw with your cocktail you need to pack your own! ( or pay $6 for five straws )

Extended Balcony

We were spoiled by this balcony! Room was nice. Bed was crazy comfortable but hot! Tough to keep room cool enough.
