Sail Date: Dec 2019
Cabin: Balcony

We first sailed on the Sun in 2010...The ship is an older one (2000 I believe) but the upgrade in 2018 really made the ship look new.

We originally had a family ocean-view but bid $140 (x2) for an upgrade and got a balcony two days before we sailed! I also bid on a mini-suite but did not get it sadly. The bidding game is kinda fun!

Getting on the ship was the fastest we ever experienced! Room was ready by 130pm and baggage was delivered at 230pm. When we tendered to Stirrup Cay it was quick and easy with no lines and the same goes for when we got home. For a sold out cruise it was amazing!

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was really clean, well laid out and roomy (for a cruise ship anyway). Bathroom a bit tight but we also like to RV so we are used to small bathroom showers! Bed was VERY comfortable, but the convertible sofa not so much for our two adult children with us...a bit like sleeping on the floor they said (hard). Balcony was GREAT to have and the in room coffee maker was a really great thing to have as well! We were on 10th floor, port side AFT (Room 10062). Some noise from chairs on pool deck but other than that the AC was great, water hot and pressure great, lots of places to plug in phones and was very clean. Room steward was very good as well.
