In summary I'd highly recommend Celebrity Solstice.

We were fortunate enough to sail in the Sky Class Suite. (To date we have done a balcony stateroom, Concierge Class & Royal Suite so we have good points of reference).

Having come off Millennium in September 20 (see earlier review) we were questioning Celebrity's commitment to maintaining and enhancing it's reputation (as opposed to living off it).. we can honestly say that the commitment to excellence was very present on Solstice.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 2

Our cabin (2150) was really enjoyable, wonderfully complimented by Orlando our Butler, and impeccably serviced by our stateroom attendant. We did note on cruise critic prior to booking, mixed reviews around noise from the floor above in Ocean View Cafe. If you are considering this cabin here's the specifics...

- The (occasional) noise comes from tables and chairs being dragged around in Ocean view on Deck 14.

- If you go to bed before 9:30pm or sleep in after 7:30am and are a light sleeper this cabin's not for you.

- If you go to bed later and rise fairly early you'll not be bothered by the occasional noise,

Personally I didn't find any of the noise that bad, and I think some of the reviews around this are over dramatic.
