We are loyal RC Platinum members. The Allure is a beautiful ship but the service and food is not up to RC standards as we have experienced on previous cruises. The crew appeared to just be going thru the motions without any enthusiasm. If you got in their way they would give you a dirty look and expect you to move rather than them moving for you. I have never experienced such terrible service on RC. Our waiter pretended to not speak English when asked for a special request. He also would put the food down and run off. His assistant would pour us water and disappear from the room for long periods of time leaving him to work alone. We had to constantly try to get his or her attention from across the room just to get a water refill. At the end he had the nerve to ask us to rate him as a 10 on the survey.

The food was just ok in the main dining room. The only thing that was special was the lobster night. It was the same old tired menu every night with a few add ons but nothing that would knock your socks off. We did eat at the Samba Grill Brazilian restaurant one night for a fee and the service and food there was excellent. They were the exception.

The cabin was a good size but it is looking old and run down. There were holes in the curtains, stains on the carpet and a loose linoleum tile in the shower. Our room attendant did a good job keeping it clean. She was also unfriendly but she did her job.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony Accessible

In need of help. Holes in curtains. Stains on the carpet. Loose linoleum tile in the shower. Good sized OV cabin with a tiny balcony. Perfect for two.
