My grown daughter and I went on this cruise to spend some time together and have fun. Our veranda room was nice and our porter provided excellent service. We dined in the Main Dining Room a couple of times but the timing in between courses was excessive and the meal time seemed to go on forever. We opted to dine at the Lido buffet as a result. The food at the Lido was ok. Overall, the cruise was boring and pretty low energy. There really wasn’t much going on most of the time. We were on a Caribbean cruise and there was no playing or performing of reggae music or music influenced by the region we were visiting. The pools were nice as were the loungers but there wasn’t much activity on the deck in the day. I didn’t go to the wine tasting or the classical music performance. At times there were performances on the music walk but it was difficult to get a seat and the songs were repeated. There a few shows in the World Theater. They were ok. Most of the time I felt as though the cruise was catering to its predominately senior citizen passengers. I noticed it around the ship, in the music played, and in the activities offered. Thankfully, there was a pretty good selection of movies available on the tv in my stateroom. On this cruise I did something I very seldom do. I watched tv daily.
Comfortable and everything functioned properly.
