We chose to go on the Sirena after hearing all the positives about Oceania. We had just sailed on the Royal Princess and walked across the parking lot to board the Sirena. Our expectations were that the food and service would be much better on the Sirena. Unfortunately, the Royal Princess was the far superior ship. The Sirena is a beautiful ship, but that’s all. We dined in the Tuscan steakhouse the first night. My steak was was way overcooked and so heavily seasoned I couldn’t taste the meat. Our water glasses were empty until we asked a waiter.

Turns out that was the only night my medium rare steak or lamp chops were not served raw.

Every dining venue served me raw meat except Red Ginger. It got to be a joke among our group of four. My wife’s lobster was always ice cold. Water refills, everywhere, were by request only.

Veranda Stateroom

Beautiful room. Incredibly small bathroom.
