The facts: M/S Sjøveien with 12 guests, 2 PolarQuest guides and the crew of the ship, Spitsbergen expedition cruise for 11 days

Good things first: the ship and the crew were excellent. However, the PolarQuest guides had their mind only partially on service mode. It started that we were asked to meet at 18:00 at the dock. However, no one took care of us before 19:15 when the rest of the guests and one guide from the airport arrived ... and it was cold that day (and the other guide was on board and should have known that we were waiting outside). Well and then we were supposed to carry the luggage by hand over the long floating deck to the ship.

The above is just one example. Several of such strange/wrong things happened during the entire cruise. It is also a bit surprising that a guest got during dinner a drastic telling-off in front of everybody from a guide. This episode reminded me actually of pre-school - only all involved were much too old for pre-school.
