this cruise was a late booking to fit in a week before some time in Florida for these snowbirds.
Bed was not as comfortable as Princess advertises.
Cruise Director Dan Falconer from the UK was excellent, very witty, cute jokes every day, great job hosting Marriage Game
quite small compared to other cruiselines, recommend a deluxe balcony room
actual balcony just enough for 2 chairs and table, still nice to read out of, looked directly down to lifeboats
huge closet, not really necessary, ,but most cruisers, overpack, hence it was put in these ships. bathroom ok, shower good size. pump shampoo/conditioner and body wash, got bottle of body lotion.
bed was not that good, asked for topper and got it, but really needed to be replaced.
needed some pillows with more support, requested and delivered.
flat screen HD tv, was excellent, lots of content, on demand movies, travel shows, great entertainment if you wish to watch. most game shows are taped and shown on tv
about 10 live tv channels, got NFL games, MSNBC and Fox, BBC, 2 ESPN's
Overall quite acceptable.
Lots of Elite passengers on board, Princess have some very loyal cruisers
Future cruise booking, only had 1 manager, with no help and reduced hours, a serious marketing mistake from Princess corporate, even had the Dance Captain Manager, working part time to make up sign up sheet and get people in the future cruise booking
embarkation was quick and smooth. In Canada, the medallions are not sent out, so had to pick up at port, not an issue
brought on 2 wines, no problem, most did not
average bbq lunch, some beach areas have lots of rock and coral at shores, turn right when off ship to better beach. Most Princess optionals are over priced
nice water
been before, so just shopped. Little Switzerland jewelry shop, gives you a free wifi password and good internet, also in St Maarten and maybe in other ports
rained all morning
5 ships in port including Oasis and Anthem, so huge crowds in port, so avoided beaches
Look at port info before booking cruise to see how many ships are there, Grand Cayman is another over run port
