We have been on over 20 cruises, and selected this one as a pleasant opportunity to get away and recharge. We are seniors who retired to FL many years ago for the good weather and access to cruise ports. We were accompanied on this cruise by our neighbors and everybody had a good time.

Embarkation was a pleasant start to our experience. Never have we experienced such a speedy embarkation and disembarkation. I don't think it took us fifteen minutes for the time we reached the terminal until we were on the ship, and even less time to get off and through customs.

Because it is December the ship was decked out in holiday decor with a big tree in the Atrium and decorations on the railings of every level on the atrium. There were several holiday themed events such as a tree lighting, an ugly Christmas sweater contest, appearance of Santa, and most magical of all, it snowed in the atrium in the middle of the Caribbean!

Cabin Review

Ocean View

While much smaller than we are accustomed to on Carnival (it was more like a RCCL cabin in size) the cabin was comfortable and clean. There is no sitting area so you have to watch the TV from the bed. The shower is large enough for two, there is plenty of closet and storage space, and there are four charging outlets for cell phones, tablets, etc.
