This cruise is close to home and a nice getaway for a long weekend. We had taken the cruise to Santa Barbara and Ensenada for Valentines day last year and enjoyed it so we decided we would take a four day cruise every year if possible. We had an aft stateroom which was a great location but I would recommend a lower level than the Marina Deck. The bar above could look over our balcony so we did not like that. The service is always good on Princess and the other guest are always friendly. The food was more than plentiful and lots of activities if you wish to do some. Catalina is a gem. We just walked around the town but it is so quaint and so many cute little shops and restaurants. The comedian was awesome on the ship. We had seen AJ Jamal before and he is really funny. If you just want a break from your daily routine I would recommend this cruise.

Nice aft facing room but go a few decks down. We booked Baja deck for our next four day cruise on the same ship for 2021.
