The Majestic Princess is a beautiful, opulent ship.

The problem with the itinerary is that there are no ports for the ship to dock at, except for a container terminal in Brisbane where there is nothing to see at the dock. All other ports are visited via tenders to / from the ship, which take hours to get off and back onboard. Half the day is wasted waiting for tenders. Princess needs to dock this big ship in ports instead of tenders and needs to pay for more catamarans and berthing space in the ports so multiple tender boats can offload passengers at once rather than waiting hours in the heat of far north Queensland.

Princess needs a larger reception area for people returning from tenders, before the security screen, as passengers are waiting for an hour to disembark from a catamaran while other passengers are passed through the security screen. Other tenders are also floating out at sea waiting their turn to disembark their passengers back onto the ship for hours.

Balcony

Cabin was perfectly fine.

Port Reviews

Cairns

Why tender to Yorky's Knob instead of Cairns town centre? There is nothing to do at Yorky's Knob.

Terrible tender service.

Port Douglas, Australia

Terrible tender service to Port Douglas from the big ship. Princess needs to pay for more than 1 berth for tenders to be able to quickly offload passengers, instead of waiting for hours in the heat on crammed life raft boats with passengers crammed inside and on top (roasting in the hot sun for hours until they felt like vomiting).
