Embarkation at San Diego was not a problem, and we were onboard for 12.30 and had nice lunch and a couple of drinks. Got to our room for 1.30 and bags arrived soon after. The ship looked in reasonable condition, although you can always pick faults if you wish to. Food was very good, plenty of choice, both in the Oceanview and the MDR. Never needed to wait long before getting served at any bar. All staff were pleasant and helpful, in particular our steward Gusti, and a lad called Panda who worked the Pool bar. Entertainment was mixed, but we went to a few shows, and enjoyed the Buddy Holly tribute, Shades of Buble, and a Hits of Broadway show by the Infinity cast. I also attended some talks by Bill Fall on the Panama Canal and he was very good. We did four trips with Celebrity and enjoyed them all, it was good to know that the ship would be waiting for should you be late back. We enjoyed all ports of call, and the Panama Canal was the highlight, it helped that the weather was sunny and very warm. Disembarkation at Miami was a bit of a lengthy process, taking us until 11.45 to get through.. We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and the ship and would recommend it to anybody.

Cabin Review

A bit tight for space, but overall OK, shower was very good, plenty of hot water and good pressure, there was enough space for our clothes, and the bed was comfy. Our cruise was lucky, with no rough seas, but our position midship was very smooth, Room was very handy for the midship elevators, and for port days, when we were very close to the Gangway for going ashore. Our steward Gusti was very good and very helpful.

Port Reviews

San Diego

San Diego is a lovely city and we walked round most of it.

Cabo San Lucas

We really only had a half day here by the time we reached dry land on the tender,It was also raining, but we had a nice meal in This Is The Place, and a few drinks before heading back. Maybe look better on a better day.

Colon (Cristobal)

Only went as far as the safe zone within the port area, not much to see or do, most of the trips involved going back to the Panama Canal, of the 13 trips advertised none mentioned the word Colon.

Miami

Enjoyed Miami, lovely beach.
