We had been cruising with Carnival and wanted to try a different line thinking higher price = better experience. The ship was smaller than I expected and that is on me, I should have read the reviews before booking. The complimentary food was not as good as Carnival but the specialty dining was pretty good, just pricey. The free drinks were amazing of course, but you better get them before midnight because everything closes down at midnight except the sports bar and they aren’t too happy to see you when you come in.

We chose swimming with the pigs as our excursion and it was pretty cool, but the whole time we were on Great Stirrup Cay we were covering Royal Caribbean’s private island. It looked like it had a lot more to do on the island. If I were to ever choose Norwegian again, it will be on a much larger/newer boat. Really glad this was not my first cruise or I probably wouldn’t cruise again.
