Cabin: Ocean View

As I've travelled on Carnival, Princess, Holland America and others, this is a comparison to these lines. This was a nightmare. Twelve days and nights of misery. The cabin was supposed to be a room for 3 adults but immediately found there were 2 twin beds and a love seat. Customer service said there was a drop-down bunk bed only, for which a disabled 70 year old had to climb into. No way to suddenly cancel at this point since already in Rome. If there'd been a full size couch, my roommate could have slept there. As it was he sat up the whole trip.

The "Entertainment" was not entertaining and 3rd class, a juggler who couldn't juggle among other poor acts. The movies they played were not newly released plus they showed same movie 3 times rather than getting a variety. To rent a movie for the room, it was the same reruns they were showing at movie theater and cost $11.99!

The gym was decent. The library was miniscule but at least I found enough to get me through the 3 days at sea. Their excursions could have been good but buses to the sites were barely staggered, so everyone arrived about the same time and caused people to be fighting for a turn at the minimal restrooms. Some tour busses did not bother to give but 1 bathroom break in 6 hrs causing a friend to accidently pee on herself. Then she was unable to get out to view the Western Wall and other sites because she smelled and was embarrassed. I'd also never seen the amount of people who got lost on their tours because guides did not give good information, or even hold up their "lollipops" so people could find them. One group lost 10 people.

Ocean View

See above. So much smaller for the same money than any other cruise I've been on. Bathroom tiny. Could barely turn around.

Ship arrived during the normal lunch siesta times, which run 12:00 to 4 PM. Nothing open to shop at or see.
