My sister & I chose the Viking Swiss Alps to Paris Cruise to celebrate her retirement & my 60th Birthday. We felt that a river cruise would be a great way to experience Europe. The Hild was a beautiful ship to cruise on. The service was exceptional & we so enjoyed being greeted by name everyday. Our crew were so helpful & accommodating with everything from housekeeping to travel arrangements. The chef, Jonni did such an outstanding job on each of our meals. Mathias, our cruise director, was a real pleasure to guide us safely through our travels. He went above & beyond to help.

The excursions were very attractive that it was difficult to pick one over the other when making our choices. Each port excursion was so organized & well planned. We had no problem at all finding our guides & participating in their presentations. We experienced & learned so much on our journey. It was everything & more than we hoped for!
