Watch out because Carnival decides on a case by case basis when they will compensate for stuff they feel is something they want to or not. We missed an entire day of sailing and disembarked at midnight because of their previous sailing. No compensation was offered for missed day except for the prorate of one day of drinking packages and internet packages. So ridiculous!! How about for people who didn't purchase those extraordinary extras?? If I wanted to pay for a 4 day cruise vs a 5 day thats what I would've done. The my time dining staff is not attentive and forgets to bring stuff (ie food you ordered, coffee, filling up water). The only way to get from the back of the ship to the front is up on the lido deck and even that requires maneuvering and through the nasty stinky smelly oh so gross casino area. The formal pictures were even set up during that area...I mean really carnival?? Move the casino area so you dont have to be near smoke. If you want to wait 45 min to get a grilled cheese or pb&j from room service be my guest-so not worth it-I cant imagine what the "paid" room service would be like for -chicken wings. The rooms were very dry and dingy-made all of us stuffy throughout the cruise. We were on the 8th floor in the back and you can hear at night the restaurants above moving chairs all night long. We bought a cake for my daughters birthday for the last day of the ship and they told us we couldnt take it off the ship. This thing was expensive and we have barely 3 pieces of a 20 piece cake. You've got to be kidding me!! The lemonade and tea on the ship was absolutely disgusting!! The lemonade was soooo lemony that you had to dilute it by 3/4 water..and they had unsweet tea-which would be fine if it was actual sweet tea and not grainy. We drank water mostly because it was so gross. Disembarking was really weird too, we always choose to carry our luggage off, and they started calling deck 1, 2, 3 and so on and then switched it by the time they got to deck 6 and added people with checked luggage to disembark now too....helloooo what happened to deck 8 people with their own luggage. Thank God we didnt wait for them to call our floor. They also said they'd start at 7:30 on the debarking info seminar and then they started at 6:45am instead. Glad we know better so we didn't have to be in the crazy rush of everyone else. We did very much enjoy the shows, nassau was beautiful..we went to Blue lagoon and it was sooo worth it! Lunch was what it was-hamburgers, hot dog, bbq chicken, rice, ff, salad, etc...nothing special, but hey it was food...make sure you bring a water bottle...you only get one soda and no refills.Also they are really expensive for items in their store-and charged $1.50 extra for using our CC. The guys who brought us to the island were hilarious!! Made the 30 min ride so worth it. They had jokes!! They had music and danced and had a congo line. So much fun!! Half Moon Cay was wonderful too-getting off the ship was fine-a little disorganized. Having to stand in line to get a ticket to pick a time to get off the ship. Same with my time dining-we had to check in every night in one area and wait in line and then finally walk down to the dining room to actually eat. Where we had to stand in line was near the smoking casino area too...so gross!!
