We have sailed on all of NCL's Jewel class ships and love them all. They are large enough that there is plenty to do, yet small enough that it has a "neighborhood" feel. We are Platinum Plus as well as Ruby in the casino, so embarkation was a breeze for us. We always get a 2 bedroom suite (non-haven) since most of our cruises are longer (this was 29 days) and we need that extra room for our sanity and sleep ! The cabins are very comfortable and if I could take the bed home, I would, it's better than mine at home. The specialty restaurants (with the exception of LaCucina) were great and generally exceeded our expectations. The main dining rooms were just average both food and service wise. The casino staff was amazing and they actually made you feel good about losing your money....lol. They also have a few smoking areas that are comfortable for the smokers, yet far enough away from the non-smokers that everyone was happy. If you are a smoker, stick with the Jewel Class ships. The larger ships have very few, uncomfortable smoking areas that it takes away from the entire social atmosphere.

Cabin Review

We love our cabin. it is below the spa so there is very little noise from above and it's an easy walk up the steps to go to the spa if you'd like. the master bedroom is amazing, king size bed, fabulous bedding and huge bathroom with double sink vanity, tub and large shower with a floor to ceiling window to look our at the ocean while showering. The main room has a sofa that converts to a bed, TV and dining area and the 2nd bedroom has it's own bath and can sleep 3 people
