The Good: Dinners were great, shows were outstanding, the Aquaduck slide was fun, Pirate party with fireworks was awesome, Halloween party was super fun, opportunities to see the Mickey and friends characters, Castaway Cay was by far the highlight!

The Bad: Cruise was expensive to begin with and they continue to charge you for SO much extra when you're there! (popcorn and pop outside the theater you would think is free - nope $7.50 or $18 for a container + they add gratuity onto everything, photos they take $21 each, beer outrageous, mandatory gratuity at the end for stateroom host, restaurant servers, host at restaurant), can only get free drinks on the 11th deck which is inconvenient, lunch food was meh, stateroom bathrooms were tiny, accommodations seemed dated - especially for the $ you're paying - we usually stay at 5 star all inclusive resorts for way less money during peak season for 7 nights - this cruise was really 3.5 days and we spent $5K for a family of 5 in the off season during October, it was super crowded, lots of lines and waiting, the pools were a joke super tiny for the thousands of people on board, and the worst part was the evacuation drill at the beginning we stood in the blazing sun and heat with our screaming 2 year old for 45 minutes and never understood why- we couldn't even hear what they were saying for evacuation procedures, 2 year old couldn't go in the pools with a swim diaper understandable for sanitary reasons but was inconvenient when our other 2 were swimming, 2 year old also couldn't go in kids club also inconvenient when our other 2 were in there, long waits for the elevators, we were also stuck in the late dining group for 8:15 dinners each night and our youngest could not handle it, she cried through dinner or fell asleep on our laps which made it difficult to eat, Bahamas port was disappointing, and first night on ship was extremely rocky even though seas were fairly calm because we were going so fast, I was very seasick even with 2 patches behind my ears and many other people we met said the same. One night a kid puked all over in line for dinner and I couldn't get beyond the fact that those germs were circulating the ship, I couldn't wait to get off of it.

The kids had a blast and ultimately that's why we chose this cruise. Yes we are glad we did it, but won't be doing it again, especially for the price.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom

Beds were comfortable, yes there was room for all 5 of us to sleep, pillows were lumpy, bathrooms were tiny and decor seemed outdated.
