I love Celebrity especially the Reflection but I opted in for what I thought was an upgrade and ended up in a noisy, clanging, rumbling, vibrating room! Room 7107- family veranda. And insult to injury-I paid for the upgrade! Every docking and departure created this other worldly ungodly racket. It was the anchor and every other contraption used to secure the ship to its spot. The first time I heard it it woke me from a sound sleep- scared me to death! I would never let a family use this room- babies would scream, children will have nightmares and Moms and Dad will run to stand in line for a half hour at guest services to get them selves moved! That's exactly what I did but it took 3 times to get a new room. 7 days of this - every time we docked or left port.Yikes why would any one consider this room for a vacation? In the end I was moved to a nice quiet room and yes I slept through the next docking- oh sweet sleepy dreams after a week of clang, clang, clang, bang, bang, rumble, tumble, screeching noise.Do I still love Reflection - yes oh yes. Why ? The food of course, the state room attendants, all the staff- maybe not so much guest relations because they looked at me like I had 2 heads when i complained about the noise- They actually said no one had ever complained before- laughable. But I will go back .Just take my advice, when they offer the family veranda upgrade don't take 7107!
