The cruise was in a single word- superb. The ship is well maintained. The service was unbelievable. The cabin was well appointed and well maintained by a professional and polite staff. The food was "to die for" and the wine selection outstanding. The steak at Manfredi's restaurant is probably the best piece of meat we have ever had. The Chief Table, The Restaurant, World Cafe, and Pool Grill were so good, it was hard to decide where to go. Tea time was grand- service was outstanding and the selection of teas and snacks equaled the service. We really enjoyed the thermal spa, steam room, snow room, hot tub, and wooden bucket with cold water. The fitness room was very good and the 1/4 mile track on the 2nd deck much appreciated. The excursions offered diverse experiences. We enjoyed the ones that included meals and drinks. We spent two days in Athens before getting on the ship- the hotel and Viking support was outstanding. Cannot say enough about the crew and staff- their sole focus is passenger satisfaction in all facets of the cruise.
