We are a retired couple from the UK. Seasoned travellers and been on over 50 cruises with all the major players. Never been to any of these places so we were attracted to this cruise. Big mistake.
The ship is old, tired and needs to be out to sleep. Rust everywhere and painting over it doesn't help. The smell on our deck was revolting. We didn't need to ask what it was - that was obvious. What I found odd was the fact that they couldn't fix it. Thousands of pounds spent to have 19 days putting up with something smelling like the inside of a public lavatory or sewage plant. Simply not good enough !
As for the rest of the ship, our room was kept clean and tidy. Plus marks as usual to the stateroom staff. They deserve every penny they get

Plenty of space. Kept clean too. Shower was a joke, just a dribble coming out and not very hot

Halong Bay
Really only worth seeing the is lands just off the port. If you have seen the Names Bond is lands in Thsikand, this is similar. There is a street market. Very stressful experience. Be prepared for a lot of hassle from vendors
Nha Trang
Very good beach. However watch your stuff. Plenty of thieves on motorbikes watching you. A few fellow passengers got robbed. One guy grabs your bag, then passes it to his mate on a bike who scouts away. Also, vendors in the street market are very annoying. Lots of pushing and shoving. Not pleasant

Nice wee town. 15 minute walk from the port but do n't expect the cruise line to tell you t h at
Brisbane
Nice clean walkable city centre. You get there by taking the citycat ferry few minutes walk from the cruise terminal. Funny the cruise line doesn't mention that . Or you can take the cruise lines ferry excursion at about ten times the cost of the citycat. Your choice
