The Sea Princess is now an average ship having aged poorly. There appears to be some outstanding maintenance required to get it back to a reasonable standard. Our cabin seemed to be smaller than previous cruises, along with the bedding feeling like it was also getting old.

We predominantly ate in the Horizon Court dining facilities and must say that the food was far below standard with excess oil and/or spices being used, along with being overly repetitive. On some occasions we ate either fruit or bread rather than hot food.

When we did eat in the Dining Room, you do notice the dramatic differences, with the quality of the food being equivalent to a good restaurant.

Cabins are starting to show their age and Princess should consider some updating of the decor.
