Our very first cruise and it was amazing! We were with seven other people that had all previously cruised. This was helpful for us as we didn't attend the first time cruisers meeting. I would recommend going to it if you haven't cruised before. There is a lot to know that I'm sure would have been covered at the meeting.

I was quite impressed with embarkation and disembarkation at all stops. With the mass of people involved, things moved very quick and efficiently.

Our accommodation was a Mini-Suite, very roomy, kept clean and restocked with daily service. The bed was so comfortable. We didn't spend much time in our cabin so are considering a Balcony Stateroom the next time we cruise.

Port Reviews

Astoria, Oregon

The Trolley was a fun ride.

San Francisco

Enjoyed Fisherman's Wharf and the hot day at the pool, aboard ship.

Monterey

Monterey was absolutely beautiful! Rented a car. Enjoyed the aquarium and the spectacular scenery from Monterey to Carmel along our ocean drive. The day was way too short.

Victoria

We have been to Victoria previously. It was nice day so opted to walk the breakwater out to the lighthouse, about 1 mile round trip. Fisherman's Wharf next, maybe another mile or more. Scenic little area with floating restaurants and houses. They had cute little water taxi tug boats. We asked if we could take it back to the ships pier but that was not an option so we took a bicycle taxi instead.
