My husband & I chose this cruise for the opportunity to go to St Petersburg. What we experienced was so much more! We took the Iceland pre-trip after hearing that Iceland was a fun place to visit. We didn’t have many expectations so we just enjoyed Reykjavik. It’s a great city with wonderful food. The Blue Lagoon is not to be missed...beautiful & relaxing!

Our first cruise port was Stockholm. It’s a great city & we felt we didn’t see all it has to offer. St Petersburg was even more majestic than we imagined! The shore excursions were exceptional. Seeing Swan Lake at the St Petersburg Ballet was breathtaking....what an opportunity! We took the two day St Petersburg excursion. It was grueling (an 11 hour day & then 8 the next) but we wouldn’t trade that experience for anything! Our guide was fantastic & we saw all the highlights of Catherine’s Palace, Peterhof, the Hermitage, Peter & Paul Fortress, St Issacs & Church if Our Savior on Spilled Blood to name a few. We are still talking about our visit & reliving it with our pictures.

While we thought that St Petersburg was the highlight, we had no clue how charming & wonderful Tallinn, Gotland, & Bornholm would be. Walking, biking & eating in the local restaurants was terrific. Herring is definitely different at their local smokehouse! Finally, Copenhagen was a beautiful place to walk & cruise the canals. We were sorry when our cruise ended & that we hadn’t booked the next one to Norway!

Cabin Review

Cabin Junior Penthouse Suite

The cabin was roomy & comfortable with lots of room for storage. We enjoyed the couch during down times & the balcony for the view. Our cabin staff were friendly & efficient. It was an awesome “home away from home”!
