Embarkation was great, we were on the ship 5 minutes after entering the terminal.

The refurbished part of the ship is great, it’s a shame they didn’t update the staterooms. Ours was quite shabby with stained and faded sofas, old net curtains which didn’t meet in the middle and filthy curtain liners. Come on RCI. Our cabin was kept clean though, so no problems there, it just felt grubby because it was tatty.

The food in Windjammers and the MDR was very good, plenty of choice. We had the lovely Amit and Heman (Table 755) looking after us, who were so lovely, friendly and helpful. We had My Time dining and had the same table and time every night.

Cabin 2T

Really shabby. Old, faded and stained sofas, old grubby net curtains which didn’t meet and dirty curtain linings. The cabin was kept clean, we have no problem with our cabin steward, but it desperately needs a facelift. Was very quiet though.

Port Reviews

Vigo

Nice place to walk around on your own.

Lisbon

Really interesting port, lots to see and nice walk along the promenade. Walkable from ship and see on your own. Lovely sailing out under the bridge.

Ibiza

Took shuttle to town and walked up through the old town to the the fort and cathedral with great views. Walked back and had lunch in a little bar, walked around the shops and marina. Great day.

Barcelona

Very interesting, Sagrada Familia was something else.

Cartagena (Spain)

Walked around on our own as ship docks right in the city. Not very big. Make sure you don’t miss the amphitheatre as it’s just a door, you would never know it was there.

Seville

Very pretty and lots to see. Walkable from ship. Try the fried crispy shrimp pancakes in the market. Very yummy and always a queue, so says a lot.
