We chose this cruise because it was to destinations that were unusual for us and a great way to celebrate our 40 years of marriage. Everything onboard was way above average and made it very special trip for us. We enjoyed the shore excursions, although several of the guides on the included excursions could have been better.

The food was wonderful. We ate in the specialty restaurants 4 times and enjoyed each meal. One night we were able to walk up and get in immmediately without a reservation because some other guests had cancelled at the last minute.

The staff was very attentive throughout the ship - always smiling and asking us if we needed something. On the last day of the cruise, the ship staff sent a bottle of champagne and a delicious torte to our cabin for us to celebrate our anniversary. our cabin steward was like a ghost - slipping in and out of our room seeing that everything was clean and to our liking.
