This is a 8th cruise with Princess and our second time on the Regal Princess.

We fully enjoyed all the cities in the Baltic region we went to and concentrated mainly of the visiting and not time on the ship. The staff on the ship made you feel comfortable and were always polite and made sure all your needs were met. We only went to a few shows on the ship and found them OK but not of high caliber.

We found that the cities always had something for us to see and explore. We did not really use the cruise ship excursion as they were very expensive and using Rick Steves guide for the ports allowed us to go into town and see most of the sites as most ports were walkable, We did use the cruise excursion to get to town for Sweden as the ship docks about an hour away for Stockholm and the hop on/ hop off bus did not seem very convenient and we had on board credits to use.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabin was good sized and always kept clean by the cabin steward. When we asked for things he was always able to help us ie wine glasses , robes .wait staff in the dining rooms were very good but sometimes delivery of food was slow. Found some cruisers not adhering to hand cleaning entering the buffet dining rooms even when reminded by staff.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Very nice and clean city . Lots to see and felt safe walking everywhere.

Stockholm

We did this on our own using Rick Steves walking tour. Great city to walk in

Helsinki

Used a 4 stop bus tour that was offered walked around using Rick Steve book. Ver friendly place, Do the market and church in the rock .

Tallinn

Did a walking tour on our own. It was very easy to walk into town from the port. Went to old town upper and lower . I would only recommend if you do not have any mobility issues as you walk over a lot of cobblestone.

Berlin

Walked around Wernemende which is a very nice little seaside town as did not want to spend 6 hours on the train to get to Berlin and back.

Oslo

Nice little market was going on that day and it is an easy walk to town. Took tram #12 to Vigeland park ( very cheap) . This park is definitely worth the time to go as large park and lots of statues worth seeing,
