We traveled with friends who had chosen this cruise before we decided to go. Embarkation was the easiest and fastest of any cruise we have been on. This was our 6th, 2nd on Norwegian, 1st to time to Alaska. The only entertainment we saw was Jersey Boys. It was a good show. Most of the entertainment was in small venues. Even the main theater was small in comparison to other ships we've been on. Specialty Dining was not included in our Sail-A-Way cabin, but we paid extra for it to spend dinner with friends whose cabin did. It is not worth spending any extra, especially Ocean Blue which cost an additional $14 per person. Shore excursions were expensive and not always what it was advertised to be. Time in port was too short. In Ketchikan we only had time for our excursion. Time in port at Victoria is a joke. We didn't bother to get off the ship. We docked at 8pm and had to be back before midnight. Service was generally good other than waiting in lines. Overall, we did had a good time.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Cabin was plenty spacious for the two of us especially for the little time spent in it. Balcony was ok. Bathroom was nice and spacious enough for one, but could use more towel bars especially since you are asked to conserve and use more than once. Water pressure in sink and shower was good. Shower drains were poor.

Port Reviews

Victoria

Docked at 8pm, cost $15 per person to go into town and had to be back on ship by midnight. What a waste of time to even dock there. Didn't get off the ship along with many other passengers.
