I have had an interest in Russia for over 50 years starting with history classes and have read numerous books and literature about the country through the years.
The Viking River Cruise from St. Petersburg to Moscow ( although I would start in Moscow) was absolutely fabulous in every aspect from the cruise itself through Lake Ladoga, Onega and the Russian rivers to all the cities and towns visited. The ship and crew were fantastic and so accommodating. The menus were varied at every meal. The shipboard presentations were quite informative and the guides handled bus excursions so professionally. The country side and river banks were all so beauriful.
Would recommend this trip to everyone.
Cabin Review
Veranda Stateroom
Think it was #325 as it was right above the reception area by the stairs and thus an end unit.
Cabin was very nice and well kept by housekeeping every day. Linens and bath amenities were wonderful. Highly recommend a veranda room.
