We enjoyed another great cruise on the Eclipse to Alaska leaving from Vancouver. We had two days in Vancouver prior to sailing and one day after. We had a great time in Vancouver and would highly recommend spending a few days in this beautiful city.
This was our first trip to Alaska but it will not be our last. This was one of the most scenic beautiful cruises we have taken. We stayed in a Sky Suite on the 10th floor in 1198. This was a corner aft and it was perfect for the beautiful Alaska viewing.
We did a whale watching cruise from Icy Straight Point with a company called Glacier Wind Charters. This company was amazing and the tour was great. We loved everything about it. We also did a Helicopter/Glacier walk booked thru Celebrity. This one was not worth the 900.00 in our opinion. The helicopter ride was amazing but the Glacier walk was quite disappointing. Just not worth the money. The last tour we took was another one booked thru Celebrity it was a ketchikan wilderness tour & Rain forest walk - this tour was also well worth the money and so much fun.
LOVED this cabin. It was our second time in a Suite and this one felt much bigger than the other Sky suite we stayed in. The corner aft was perfect for viewing the beauty of Alaska. There was a piece of equipment on one side that blocked a little of the view but the balcony was so much bigger than any other we had so it was not an issue.
Great tour was fun and informative.
Very small tour limited to six which makes the experience much nicer. This company knows how to find the whales and they do a great job.
