This is our 9th time river cruising with Ama Waterways and once again tour experience was exceptional.
Our cruise included a pre-stay in Paris and the a seven day cruise to the Normandy coast and back. Timing of all departures and excursions was outstanding and transportation, when required, was with Ama Waterways own buses which were clean and comfortable.
The ship (AmaLyra) is not one of there newest ships but has been kept up remarkably well. Our cabin had a French balcony which we consider the best for river crising where your room is your balcony giving you that extra room with picture perfect views.

Stateroom with French Balcony
As stated in our experience summary, the cabins are roomy enough especially with the french balcony and washroom w/shower only all that we needed

Paris
Offers a very good panoramic tour of Paris. Gives you an idea of where you would want to venture on your own
Paris
Versailles is always a great experience even if you have visited before. Entry with a tour group is a must as lines were very long for single tourists
Rouen
Rouen was a very pleasant surprise. We did a walking tour through the medieval district, which is a must, a got to see all the interesting sights with free time at the end
Le Havre
Very moving when you visit the beaches antheir surrounds. This was the 75th anniversary of D-Day which made it even more special.
A must do!

One of our favourite cities in Normandy and again a must vist if you are in the area - especially on market day.
