First time on Carnival cruises. Not disappointed at all. Rated excellent for service, entertainment and cleanliness. Every stop was on time.Weather was great (August) and that's the best time to visit these islands with lower temps and humidity. Only onboard on top decks we need some extra warmth. Could not fault staterooms with excellent stewards.
A good surprise was the Carnival Hub app that simply works so well. Text to your friends anywhere onboard for $9pp is fair. It also has 'what happening' for the whole cruise with the ability to notify 15 mins before what you choose. The app contains details of event locations with maps plus ship time.
You don't have to pay for internet use for this...just as well as the cheapest deal is $120 that only gives Facebook/Messenger (no calls but pic and vid work) and very limited Google. No emails at this price either...have to pay $60 more for that.
Nice design. Connecting door let in some noise but mostly quiet. Despite 2 single bed together they were nice and soft. Pillows seemed too tall but that's just out opinion. Extended balcony was just a free bonus. Spent barely 30 mins on it the whole trip. Just good to wake up to. Shower and basin seemed hard to regulate temp but bathroom generous size with good lighting and big mirrors. Good safe, fridge and storage space.
Fishing local in banana boat $120
