NCL was excellent and I would use them again. Even though 4600 passengers, experienced staff moves folks around w efficiency and great organization. Shore excursion tickets are clearly marked with time and place to meet each morning. Embark and disembark ran very smoothly. Busses are ready, clean, clearly marked, excellent drivers. Shore excursions many and varied for different levels of activity: we had four excellent local guides, 2 poor ones.
There is much to do on board, so even days at sea are fun and filled. Water facilities are very good, esp for kids. Weather in August was chilly, so small pool and water slides were not used much. I was a bit annoyed that teens are in hot tubs all the time, making it hard for an adult to get a space. Food good, restaurant choices many and varied. Sometimes had to wait for a table even though we had reservations. Garden Café (largest buffet on 15th floor) is very busy and a little chaotic … many food choices, but hard to find a table. Would be good to have a number or color coding so that location of a table, family or friend would not be so hard.
Ship's condition up to date, clean. Entertainment excellent. Internet connection awful.
I wish twin beds were further apart as my mate is a noisy sleeper.
Cabin always clean and neat.
