Cabin: Inside Twin with Shower

We chose this cruise as it stopped at nine destinations, six of which we had not visited before on previous cruises.

Journey from Valetta airport to ship was fine, registration efficient.

As always you are met with friendly faces and a beautiful atrium, we immediately bought the non alcoholics package which included soft drinks as well as costa coffees/hot chocolate.

Cabin Review

Inside Twin with Shower

Cabin OD

Our cabin 12th deck L340. Same deck as the swimming pool

The cabin was small, however, very functional. The cases were stored under the bed, the storage was good, with plenty of drawers and wardrobe space tall enough to house full length dresses.

The bathroom was tiny but did not create a problem for us, the biggest gripe was the noisy air conditioning which could not be turned off and kept me awake the first two nights. On the plus side it could blow hot and cold air which was a bonus when we got soaked in two ports, returning to the ship like drowned rats.

The girl who was responsible for our cabin was very pleasant but not thorough in cleaning. Two days off the trot we got caught in very heavy rain, we came back and I emptied our bag as everything was drenched, I emptied sticky boiled sweets out (in wrappers) on the dressing table and also ended up making a bit of a mess with tissues which were in shreds. This was on day 3 of a 14 day cruise. After tidying up there was sticky marks left on the dressing table which was never once cleaned up, nor was the cabin hoovered so the shreds of tissues were still left when we disembarked on the final day.
