Planned and looked forward to this once a year itinerary for well over a year, sorry Disney but because of this poorly executed sailing we are trying another cruise line; just cancelled our B2B in 2020 and booked with RC. This 11 day sailing was fraught with sub par entertainment at best, even the Aladdin musical was reportedly an understudy who could not sing! The movies were the same repeated over and over again instead of offering additional selections and in the 11 nights the Edge Effect was the only entertainment worthy of applause. Even the on demand movies were quite limited. The menu's were the exact same menu's they have been serving since at least 2016, just lost all of the magic. Sea days were boring unless you played bingo, trivia or made crafts, the pools hot tubs were ridiculously full of bodies, our dream vacation was a let down of gigantic proportions. The crew was mostly kind but even there one could see the difference. We paid an exorbitant amount of money and did not feel as if we were valued passengers at all. We have a positive outlook on life but dare I say this sailing was a huge let down. Of course the rain was torrential on Castaway Cay day, no wonder we were able to pay for an available cabana, but they ordered us to leave an hour early and still we paid full price. Disney we know you can't control the weather but you could have not charged full boat for the pleasure of sitting in the wooden hut. We were super disappointed from bow to stern. Debarkation was chaos and a night mare, everyone leaving at once, just a mass exodus funneling to the one area. It was nice Disney but so long for now, see ya real soon....NOT!
A bit of a sewer odor from commode but stateroom was clean and well appointed. Still had individual shampoo/conditioners. Rain shower was nice, connecting door to the next door one bedroom was not. The door not insulated enough so it was like we were in the stateroom next door. In our humble opinion not worth the inflated price, concierge hosts were very pleasant but inundated with to many people, they did their best but you could see they were exhausted. The food and beverages were a nice addition to the other on board snack offerings around the ship. Sandra and Larry worked so hard also, smiling the entire time. While nice the amenities offered, this suite does not command the price paid in our opinion.
RIU beach & pool amazing. A beautiful and clean resort, not very far from the cruise port either.View All 125 Beach Reviews
The Hilton was amazing, the pool and beach were very clean and the food was healthy & fresh. Very nice people too!View All 167 Beach Reviews
Why do they stop here? Dirty and off putting, vendors just selling garbage the public bathrooms are a disgrace, just not a nice stop in our opinion. If ever again we would just stay on the ship.
Just wonderful, very clean beach with chairs umbrellas and massage on beach. This is a Marriott property on the Atlantic side. people walking around with pet monkeys, adorable. Would return in a heartbeat.View All 171 Beach Reviews
Paid an inflated price to sit in a wooden shed then ordered out early. So much money spent but they gave you Dasani water in a cooler and you had to walk 10 minutes for any food or beverage. Not even a slight reduction in cost for a miserable day. Shame on you Disney!View All undefined undefined Reviews
