We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and wanted to try an NCL mega ship. After being on the ship for 9 full days, I found the ship to be just average compared to Royal Carribean's mega ships. First of all, if you are into shows, entertainment and nightlife, this ship and cruise is not for you. We saw only two shows in the 9 days that we were sailing - Burn the Floor was amazing and the Million Dollar Quartet was just average. The other shows that were offered were just mediocure singers and nothing to write home about - we went into Headliners to sample one singer and ended up walking out because it was boring. Everything pretty much comes to a halt by 11:00pm - they even kick you out of the hot tubs on deck 15 by 11:00pm. We are not big gamblers and were losing money in the casino - unfortunately, that is your only form of entertainment at night. The prettiest part of the ship was on deck 6 right outside of Headliners - there is a beautiful chandelier that is multi-colored hanging down in that area. The rest of the ship was really nothing exciting, when you are used to the Harmony of Seas with Central Park re-created on one deck, a Boardwalk on another deck, an Aqua Theatre off of the back of the ship and an Ice Skating Rink that you can actually skate on when a show is not being performed. The tours that we booked through NCL's Shore Excursion desk were wonderful, except for the Best of Berlin - please note that the train that takes you to Berlin is NOT AIR CONDITIONED, the buses don't have good A/C also and the restaurants are not Air Conditioned either. So if you have a hot spell, you are in trouble.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

I have absolutely no complaints about our cabin - it was very spacious and our cabin steward was very accomodating.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We flew in 2 days ahead of the cruise as part of our hotel/cruise package. We both loved Copenhagen and want to return there in the near future. We purchased the Copenhagen Card - this card covers over 76 attraction entries at no cost and also includes public transportation. I highly recommend getting this so you can maximize your visit - it definitely pays for itself after about two attractions.

Stockholm

Amazing Renaissance Ship in all of its glory!!!
