Best way to see the Norwegian coast. Very sedate and wonderful tours in ports, exceptionally well organized, the chef is simply superb. No pool and not a lot of flashy entertainment. Not for people expecting exciting entertainment. The highlights are learning slowly about Norway and the coast. The tours are wonderful. It is exceptionally organized and the conditions are immaculate. There is a library, places to lounge and watch the fabulous scenery. The staff are very accommodating.

The views are incomparable, the prices are high to very high but this is Norway. The ship delivers material to ports and is an integral part of the Norwegian economy. The term Hurtigruten means Fast Route. You meet largely an older crowd of mostly Europeans. There are not too many singles that travel. There is not much entertainment but that is not the purpose of the voyage. You have to take this with the right expectations - a leisurely amd sedate passage through one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
