DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE! We had a family reunion / birthday party on the ship. The ship/cruise line was picked by someone in the family who cruises often and promoted the trip as a "great deal" . Although I was happy that someone else planned the trip, this is the last trip that family member will ever plan for us...#sensationFail. There was "NOTHING GREAT" about this cruise, and Carnival nickels and dimes you for everything, so once you add it all up - it was also "NOT A DEAL". There are many better options than this for a great trip.
Food: Horrible. If you are into greasy Guy Fierri hamburgers and fries, then you'll be very happy... because that's about the only thing worth eating. Other than that, the entire cruise food choices are very very bad. There are no "restaurants" so your choices are buffets or dining room - both were gross. The crew members on the boat work their butt's off, so no disrespect to them, but sit down dinner service took on average of 3+ hours --- once food arrived, it was a joke. A "side" of broccoli = 1 piece of broccoli with two sprouts. A drink at dinner would take at least 45 minutes to arrive.
Entertainment: Horrible. There is almost nothing to do on this ship. You will be out of options on day-2.
We had a Junior Suite, beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom and shower was fine, balcony was fine. Clean.
