Cabin: Balcony

We took this cruise to see the sites and animals. We had done a similar cruise last year on Star Princess.

Our cabin was ok. E227. the balconies on Princess are smaller than almost every ship and cruise line we have ever been on. We were located over the theatre which was great at night but loud in the day when the show was being rehearsed.

We had anytime dining. We try to ask for the same area and waiter every night. We had the same section every night. Ronald was our waiter and he was amazing. Very engaging and made our dining experience excellent.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Cabin is small compared to other cruise line balconies. Just the bed and a small desk and chair. No couch or loveset. so sitting area. The washroom is great. The shower is a nice size did not like that it was a shower curtain instead of a door.

The "medallion" entrance to the cabin is good though did not always work.

Port Reviews

Anchorage

Flew into Anchorage and spent the day and next morning looking around. Go to the Federal building. They have great free movies about Alaska. amazing.

Glacier Bay

Compared to the previous year this time sailing through Glacier bay lacked narrative

Skagway

Been here a few times. This time we walked up the mountain. great walk (not easy) takes up to 3 hours.
