We have enjoyed Silversea Expedition cruising in the past. The small number of passengers, terrific Expedition Team combined with luxury that Silversea excel at make for a wonderful cruise.
We boarded via the clipper boat for Tower Pier next to the Tower of London. We were checked in efficiently and went straight to Terrazza for a buffet lunch. As the ship started to fill with other passengers, we went to our suite and the suitcases arrived soon after.
The butler and room attendant combination suits us well. Available but not intrusive.
The suite is spacious with a balcony, a sitting area with a large sofa, a desk/dressing table and ample sockets for charging phones, etc. and a small table and two dining type chairs. There is a tv and fridge in the lounge space too. The double bed is about 5 feet wide and very comfortable with the usual Silversea choice of pillows and plenty of storage space for bags and suitcases under the bed. The old bedroom configuration included a small dressing table and stool at the foot of the bed. This has now gone and the room feels more spacious. There is a walk in wardrobe which works well and in our suite the bathroom had a bath with shower over.
