We sail RCI and NCL every few months. Embarkation and disembarkation was shocking - didnt get onboard until 2.30pm as a black status holder. Its 10am now and no one has disembarked yet... we are standing in huge lines. The premium (suite and high value) guests were left standing in the rain for 45 after being taken through security too early with no shelter and the ship wasn't cleared for boarding. The shambolic nature of the cruise didn't stop there. By UK and US standards the food and service in the MDR was horrendous. The decor of the ship looks like a 90s Seniors home. By far the worst part of this cruise was the attitude of the staff towards the English speaking guests. One crew member even told us the American guests are hated because they see UK/US guests as too demanding and having too high expectations. We were nothing but polite to the crew and were replied to with prejudice and rudeness on many occasions. If you have any sort of problem you have to fight your corner... no one will take ownership and actually will become combative and obstructive back. My black status hadn't fed through to the ship and I was given a classic card. No big deal however when I approached guest services to ask for the correct card I was basically accused of lying even though I had three black status welcome emails. Their nature is to pass you from pillar to post. The rudeness is part of the culture of this line. If you're used to American lines please do not waste your money and vacation time suffering this disgraceful service. Our stateroom was tired with very noticable dirty on the carpets and dust on every surface. The dining was the worst we have ever experienced in any hospitality business. Entertainment shows were high quality.

Never again MSC we will vote with our money.

Cabin B2

Dirty, tired, stains on carpet. Items missing such as towels some days. Stateroom attendant not of the same quality as other cruises.
