Excited to take part in the cruise as we have always been interested in the Baltic. Loved the port selections and also the length of the voyage, as we began our trip with the transatlantic from Fort Lauderdale. I would recommend this to anyone who might have "jet lag" issues. The transatlantic was a slow transition of time zones.

Princess excursions and selections were very good with a few exceptions. We took Princess excursions at every port. A little pricey but the assurance of quality and timeliness was worth the extra. Some guides on our excursions were difficult to understand, their attempt at English was very shaky. I think an improvement would be a narrated dialogue pre-recorded and broadcast on the bus. Then the guide could give other information rather than attempt the entire dialogue. In some cases, it was painful to listen to which was a downer for the sight-seeing. We also had a guide who's personal hygiene was very bad, and while he was very interesting, we couldn't get past the smell. Very nauseating. However, the majority of our guides were very good.

Dining, service, etc. is very good. Food selections in the buffet were the best I have seen on a Princess ship. Read more
