Girls trip, party of four. We had a check in time of 1130 and arrived at the port about 1045. We decided not to get faster to the fun when booking our cruise. We were happy we did not. Embarkation was a breeze. We walked through most of the line until we reached the top floor where we were assigned a section. We had section 4. It was not quite 1130 yet so we sat for approximately 20 minutes until our section was called. Overall, a great process boarding the ship. One thing though...one of the girls was not aware she had to carry on her bottle of wine and packed it in her check in. Big mistake as she never received the wine.

Once on board, we decided on Guy's Burgers for lunch. Great choice! The food was great and the fries were liked by all!. After lunch we headed to the Red Frog Pub on the 5th deck near the casino. We heard there were half priced drinks. We ordered three pitchers of some concoction and were buzzing soon after. Way to early for me but we were on vacation. At 2pm we headed to our room to drop off our carry on luggage.

Our balcony stateroom was located on the lido deck, 9273. We knew the room would be a tight fit for us but we weren't worried about that. Upon arrival, we could tell the room was not in the best shape. The front part of the drawer under the couch/seating area was broke and hanging off on one side. We didn't think it was that much of a problem and just went with it. Three of our four check in bags were at the door once we had arrived to the room. The fourth was not delivered until right before dinner time at 6pm. When it arrived there was a letter that they had confiscated her wine and she would not be getting it back. Her fault though so she sucked it up. The location of the room was a good choice. Really close to all the fun on the lido deck but we noticed it may have not the best location once we realized that everyone waiting for the elevator could see directly into our room. Being four single ladies in there, we entered and exited at different times. We had to be quite particular when opening the door to make sure everyone was dressed because there was ALWAYS someone standing waiting for the elevators or passing through. Lesson learned for sure. Our room steward was Emerson. We didn't see him much but he came while we were at dinner to replace the towels and make the beds. We appreciated him.
