This was my first trip to Alaska and was very excited to be on it. We choose a Spa Veranda Guaranteed cabin with an upgrade possible.
Well the upgrade did not happen (not sure what they would upgrade us too) about 10 days before we sailed we go our room assignment 10046
The cabin was good on the 10 th deck and next to the door but there was no problem with noise
my comparison is to two Veranda balcony cabins on the MS Westerdam , first of all the bathroom seemed smaller there was not as much space. the rest of the room was pretty much the same. lots of space a great entertainment system on the TV..
so as for the spa well i got three bottles of Vitamin water and bluetooth speaker ( never used) and a yoga mat . if your paying for it then its not worth the money..
now let me tell you about location I was a little worried because someone said you could hear the kids playing ping pong below and it was the cabin next to the door ..
well i was wrong never heard the ping pong or the door
location it was really good .. because out the door in deck 10 and i could be on both side of the ship in seconds.. great when the captain stopped the ship to show us a bear and a cub.. i went out and was on deck in seconds . for Alaska this was perfect because i could be out in seconds and then be looking at the other side.. i got the the thermal spa pass and it was a quick out the hall down the stairs.. the buffet also close and i i wanted to the crows nest out and up the stairs .. very good location
great city we spent three days there before
Fantastic .. once in a lifetime thing costs a lot but I really loved it ..
