We needed to go to Barbados and this cruise came up - 7 day cruise - 7 day hotel stay - at a good price.
Tui's organisation was fantastic.
From check in at Gatwick to disembarking - all superbly organised.
We had an inside cabin which was in fact bigger than the one we had on the QM2!
Yes there is a bit of a rumble when the engines are going but it actually rocked us to sleep!
Deck 2 midships was a good location as not right over the engines.
Captain was awesome - so approachable and freely gave his knowledge of the ship and our destinations.
Staff very positive.
Food average. Seemed to be a budget per course??
Can anyone tell me why ships run out of prunes?? They come in tins for god sake!!
Sorry but found the entertainment a bit basic but on a 7 day cruise not really an issue.
Initially no tissues but after a word with the lovely cabin chap they appeared.
Plenty of hot water and towels. Fresh drinking water available in the cabin was great.
Tea and coffee making in the cabin is such a good plus.
Layout of inside cabin good. We seemed to have more space in this inside cabin than on the QM2 - the staff are not so "aloof" as on the QM2!
Loads of hanging space.
