We wanted to see more of the United Kingdom and surrounding area. Each port was awesome. The excursions were well organized and we felt were reasonably priced. The ship's crew were friendly and professional. Our dining stewards always remembered us from meal to meal and often came to speak to us even if we were not seated at their table. We especially enjoyed Alfredo's, the no extra charge Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding and it was never crowded. The Beatles imitation band that performed in the Atrium the evening we left Liverpool was incredible. Everyone was dancing, swaying to the music and singing along on all levels of the atrium. People were standing on the stairways and balconies. We loved seeing the little girls dancing with their fathers and grandfathers. An incredible sense of community filled the entire space. The cruise director, Matt O made absolutely everything, even the simplest things, a time of fun. The only negative was the embarkation process. Instead of being directed to proceed to the counter as we arrived, passengers were given a number and told to be seated until their number was called. We've taken many cruises and have never experienced anything like this. Everyone who had cruised before were totally disoriented by this new procedure and the rudeness of the staff giving us directions didn't help any. Disembarkation went very smoothly. We were impressed that we had a refund and other credits due to us and Princess mailed us a check for the full amount with no hassle at all. We feel that Princess is the most transparent and honest in their financial dealings with passengers.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Well designed. We liked the layout with the closet dressing area in it's own little alcove next to the bathroom.

Port Reviews

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

We chose to walk around on our own in this charming little town.

Cobh (Cork)

The drive for a full day's journey into the countryside was wonderful. We especially enjoyed being able to use the facility rated "The Best Restroom in Ireland".

Belfast

Awesome! We had incredible day driving through the countryside, having tea and a wonderful lunch.
